Get To The Source Of Pain Faster With The Neubie Machine

May 6th, 2021

Life always seems to get interrupted from injury at one point or another. At Focus Physical Therapy in Santa Clarita, we’ve got you covered.

We are very empathetic and compassionate towards all of our patients that come see us to help feel better. Head therapist and owner Adam Laraway has treated patients in the field for over 20 years serving the Antelope Valley, and now his hometown of Santa Clarita.

Our team strives to get to know all of our patients and their ailments, and figure out the best treatment that’ll get our patients feeling back to themselves again. From treating tension headaches to arthritis and foot injuries, our mission is to provide the highest level of safe, compassionate, and tailored one-on-one care that ultimately alleviates your pain, restores your functioning and abilities, and gets you back to life in the ways you want.

Our team at Focus has a vast variety of treatment options. One amazing method of treatment is a newer machine called the Neubie. The Neubie is a pulse directing electric current treatment that gets to the source of pain faster. The Neubie actually permits movement, even at therapeutic levels of stimulation.

It is a newer treatment option, but we’ve seen positive results and feedback from our patients at Focus. Ultrasounds, manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, health coaching are other incredible tactics we use on our patients to get them back to healthy living.

Focus Physical Therapy will help take your pain away. Contact us today and schedule your first appointment. Healing starts now.

Focusing On One On One Physical Therapy

Here at Focus Physical Therapy in Santa Clarita, we dedicate our practice to our patients and their recovery process.

Physical therapy is important because it will help strengthen the muscles around your injury. It is also an option if you do not want to use medication to treat your injuries.

We focus on one on one therapy so our patients receive all of our time and attention.

Our services help relieve various different types of pain:

  • Neck Pain
  • Headaches
  • Elbow, Wrist and Hand Pain
  • Foot & Ankle Pain
  • Balance & Gait Disorders
  • Arthritis
  • Post-Surgical Rehab
  • Sports Injuries
  • Work Injuries

We offer 14 treating options so we can find a treatment specifically tailored to your needs. Some of these treating options are manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, muscle energy technique and more.

We also use Neubie, a pulse direct electric current treatment that finds the source of your pain directly. Neubie uses a mapping process that divides your body into four quadrants. We focus on the quadrant that directly aligns with the pain.

Neubie mimics the nervous system in the brain by using direct currents. This will enhance the pain you are experiencing in that area. Once the pain is recognized, we will start with the mapping process again to find a connection to your painful area. From there, we can assign you certain stretches and movements to directly enhance your range of motion in that painful area.

Our owner and head physical therapist Adam Laraway created Focus Physical Therapy in 2019. Adam Laraway has a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy. Laraway has been a physical therapist for 21 years, and served 16 of those years in the Antelope Valley. Laraway wanted to bring his knowledge and vision to his hometown in the Santa Clarita Valley.
